Sign Up To Become a Seller or Volunteer at our Annual Tuber Sale

Every year our club hosts a community dahlia tuber sale, where the love of dahlias is spread far & wide. In order for us to operate this tremendous undertaking, we rely upon our loyal members to help. You can read below the different options and then you can sign up below.

Seller

  • YES! When you sell your tubers at the club’s price of $7 per tuber and you get half the price of each tuber ($3.50). We are currently the only club who honors our sellers by paying more competitively.

  • This year we are doing something different as we are wanting to encourage more people to sell. So, we are requiring that a seller needs to come to sell at least $150 worth of product (that’s 22 tubers), in order to be the first ones to shop the sale before the doors open to the general public.
    Only sellers will be the first to shop the sale at 8:30 am on the day of the sale.

  • Yes, we are asking you provide tubers that come from clean stock.

    You will need to have a list of the tubers you plan to sell by no later than February 20th.

    If you plan to sell, additional information will be sent to you.

Volunteer at the Sale

  • We definitely need lots of help from prep work before the show even begins to the day of, during and clean up. This is truly a fun day to get to know new members and build further community within our society and in the public.

  • No. With our new change of allowing sellers who sell $150 of product to shop first, we recognize how many of you help make this day happen.

    At 9:15 am is when we open to the pre-sale to those of you who have signed up to help the morning of.

  • Your help is SO important to us. We have plenty of jobs that will need to get filled.

Additional FAQs for the Sale

  • As much as we appreciate the thought to “just show up,” we are asking that you volunteer by signing up. In order to make this event run smoothly, we need to have a list of who will be there and what jobs will be assigned.

    We are aware that shopping the pre-sale was a big perk offered in years past. However, we are not offering pre-sales to those who didn’t sign up to sell ($150 of product) or sign up to volunteer in the am shift.

  • We are asking that you email us your list no later than Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. This will ensure proper timing to get all the labels done by then.

  • The sale is Saturday, April 6th from 10am to 3pm.

    Sellers will need to be there by 7am to help with set-up. Anyone else who signed up to volunteer will receive confirmation and need to arrive at 7am.
